The Save Your Daughter Initiative (SYDI)

The Save Your Daughter Initiative (SYDI) is a community-rooted organization committed to defending the rights, dignity, and future of girls and young women. Our work focuses on preventing gender-based violence, supporting survivors, and fostering safe and empowered communities.

What We Do

We plan and support amazing projects that help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people from across different regions of the world.

We Protect Children

We work with families, communities, and institutions to prevent violence, exploitation, and abuse against girls and boys, and to ensure survivors receive dignified support.

We Champion Education

We advocate for every girl’s right to go to school, stay in school, and learn in a safe environment. We support community awareness, back-to-school campaigns, and initiatives that remove barriers to girls’ education.

We Amplify Voices

We train and support youth, especially young women, to tell their own stories through media, film, and social platforms—shifting narratives from stigma and silence to dignity and rights.

We Engage Communities

We convene dialogues, forums, and grassroots campaigns that bring together elders, religious leaders, parents, and youth to challenge harmful practices and co-create local solutions.
